When I first read the blurb, or maybe it was the second time? Don't remember, but I thought that wow, this will do! This story is what I need right now.
I imagined that Zack will be this hardcore, dom type editor who'll kick Nora's ass, figuratively speaking :))
And Nora will be this submissive, brilliant woman with defiance in her eyes! Our regular BDSM. After long power struggle they'll finally settle down and live happily ever after.. I could have not been more wrong!

This story is nothing I've ever expected. And It's not a romance story either, so don't fool yourself with hopes of happy endings.

This is a horror story if anything and I think the 'author' IN this book would agree with me.

Here.. the person who loves you don't bring you flowers, no.. He beats you. Among other things..

That said, I wasn't disappointed with this book. Quite the contrary, I loved it! It's emotional, raw, true to the core. Full of desires and hurt and pain and love. Yes love.
But it's not a romance.
It's a horror story!

“Come on, Lil,” a female voice urged.

“I think she’s coming around,” a male voice said.

I lifted my eyelids. At least I thought I did. There was nothing but blinding whiteness. I strained until the blue sky and faces inked in. Unfamiliar faces. Two women and one man. Their eyes were filled with concern as they stared down at me. Beside them were familiar faces—Bran, Grampa and Aunt Janelle, Kim, Izzy, Remy, Sykes and Kylie, but they began to fade.

“No, don’t leave me,” I cried out and reached out for them.

 “Not so fast,” one of the unfamiliar women warned and pressed my shoulder down. “You had a nasty fall.”

I struggled against her hand and sat up. Black dots appeared in my eyes and a sharp pain radiated from the back of my head. I closed my eyes until the dizziness passed, then raised a trembling hand to my head. There was a huge bump the size of an egg, and my skull felt like someone was hammering it with a blunt object.

Squinting, my gaze moved from her to the other woman, then the man. They all wore black pants and matching shirts, a uniform of some kind, and had daggers in sheaths strapped around their waist and their thighs. I’d never seen them before in my life, yet they watched me with such concern.

I inched away from them and noticed I wasn’t dressed like them. I wore a bikini and was lying down on a towel. Frowning, I took in our surroundings. We were on a grassy patch by a pond in the middle of a forest. The trees were so tall and curved in such a way that was unnatural. It was like they deliberately curved to block the skyline or hide the pond.

Why couldn’t I remember where I was or how I got here? What was my name?

My gaze moved back to the woman squatting beside me. I wondered whether to ask her these questions, but survival instinct stopped me even though I didn’t feel any negative vibes from her.

I scooted backward and realized my grip was around a dagger. Intrigued, I studied it. It had a clear, wavy blade and green stones on its gilded hilt.

Seeing the dagger switched on something inside my pounding head. Memories of places and people rushed back—I saw myself entering a booth in an arena, where a familiar man with red hair called me his daughter; attempting to escape a dark-haired woman who claimed to be my half-sister; a huge black man with soft brown eyes helping me, and another with short-cropped blond hair swearing allegiance to me…

I've signed up for this blast and a book review, but I wasn't sure I'd even like this book or the series.

I know... I know... I probably shouldn't say that, but I wanna be honest
when I say that this book , this series more the surprised me, it blew my mind away! TOTALLY! UNEXPECTEDLY! ohhh.. and the ending.....!

See, I read Ya from time to time, but I'm usually more hesitant to start with a teen angst.

What I liked most in this book was Lil! How she is so much more mature!
I've read this series, all 3 books in a row, so I actually felt proud of her! 

Of course this new book also brings more secrets, more enemies to love or to hate and a ton of action. There was A LOT of that. And I loved it!
The fight between God and Evil - super!

I don't wanna spoil anything for ya, so I just want to advise you.. or
better yet, I insist, that if you haven't bought this book yet, or if you haven't even read this series in a first place.. You, my dear friend must do that IMMEDIATELY!

 All in all, Hunted is a very enjoyable read, especially for those who enjoy angel/demon books. This one has everything you want in an angel book while still maintaining its own distinct feel. ~TeresaMaryRose This series is addictive. ~Author Kate Kaynak AMAZING! This story had me biting my lips and then my nails raw. Ah, all the mystery of who done what was truly enticing!
You just cant stop reading it!
There's action, there's mystery, there's true friendship and love!
So what's not to love about a book like this?

And it was so refreshing from everything that I read lately.

I give 4 Strong Stars!

Bowens and Genevieves story haven't puled me in from the beginning as I would have loved. I was struggling at first. Very much so. But I'm glad I am so stubborn!
And I'm thankful for my will and determination to finish this book for it was one of the most beautiful love stories I have ever read!
This is a beautiful and emotional story. I love drama, but there was too much of it, even for me. However, you can expect that from a heartbreaking story like this one.

I also enjoyed how well written this book is. The beauty of this language still amazes me, and I can't get enough of it!
M.B did a great job with this series and I bet next book will be a success as well!

This book hurt... a lot

5 Sizzling Stars!!!

"...You need to be my everything." 


This is a "love" story of Ellie(Eden) and Javier.

So I should say that after this book, I'm not even sure on who's team I am.

At the beginning we got a glimpse at a very young and, in my opinion, very naive Ellie Watt. Of course she has this big bad plan for revenge. That should have made her into a bad-ass girl.
Well let me say that it haven't worked out all that well.
She got soft.
Ah, I forgot to mention, - she fell in love too.
And not just to anybody...
But to a very charming, very possessive and very, very cruel man Javier...
and oh my.. he's definitely a charmer! A real ladies man. He knows what he's doing, and he is doing it well.

I would really like Javier's book, with his POV. He's a real puzzle to me.
It looks like he's possessed with Ellie (Eden) and yet he's so distant sometimes. I would love to take a glance in his mind.

"So why did you come here?"
He smiled lazily. "I told you. I'm persistent. I don't like being told no." 

Reading the ending of this book really really hurt. I was so disappointed ... although.. I actually knew how this would all end.
I was still hoping .. for some kind of HE I guess. I'm a romantic to the core. I believe even those bad, ugly people with rotten hearts deserve to love and be loved. Sad.. I know :)


"Revenge has been my lover for too long," he said, breath hot on my neck. He began sliding down my body, toward the floor, arms around me.
"Power, my savior. I need to learn how to put you first, above those things. I need you to help me. I don't want to love anything more than you, Eden, so please, I'm begging you, show me how. You need to be my everything." 

So anyway, I think I'll play safe for now and choose Team Ellie
for now!
I need more info about our 'boyz'. :)

5 Stars!

Yet again another unexpectedly great book!
OK, I'm obviously lying, with all the great reviews for this book..
I was expecting something good, but I most certainly never expected this to be so great!

I had this book in my TBR list for months now.
I also wanted to try something from M/M, but you know how it is.
With all the books that I want to read, I feel like a kid in a candy store. I want it all and I want it now!

And honestly I was dreading a bit to read it. I didn't knew what to expect. I was so scared it would some cheesy and mushy mushy love story.
But it isn't!
It has a great suspense mystery thing going on! Which I love!
I had little time to read this past week, but I was drawn to this book, so every time I had a minute I would read, at least a few lines!
And I think that speaks for itself.

Thinking about this book now, words of a song come to mind.. and it fits perfectly to describe the 'romantic' part of this book.


..All along it was a fever..
...A cold sweat hot-headed believer...
..I threw my hands in the air I said show me something..
...He said, if you dare come a little closer..

..Round and around and around and around we go...
....Now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know..

..Not really sure how to feel about it..
....Something in the way you move....
..Makes me feel like I can't live without you..
...It takes me all the way..
..I want you to stay..

I think that's enough. This book needs to be read. It can't be explained!

This was unexpectedly very enjoyable read!

It deserves 4 Strong Stars! 

I don't even know what I was expecting from this book.
But every time I see kinky now, I tend to think about some dark BDSM.
But in this case it wasn't that. It didn't have that dark feeling you usually get when reading kinky unspeakable stories.

It was light with great humor tossed in for a good measure!
I was devouring it, and it was fun for me to see how other people tend to deal with problems in their marriage. And unexpected was the outcome!
I rarely read books that includes already married couples, I find it somewhat boring. I love the chase and the anticipation of what to come when people meet and feel the attraction towards each other. The sex and other stuff are usually just a bonus for me. Especially if it's well written. 
I like the fighting and arguing, that feel of uncertainty. That kind of book definitely for me.
But start a book with already married couple.. where you almost guess that the main thing in it will be someone cheating ... Thanks, but no thanks..

So this book was a big surprise for me! They're married and You can still feel the heat, but also some uncertainty!
Absolutely loved it!

Although I'm not sure how would have I reacted to some actions that occurred throughout this book, but I guess we're all different and need different 'treatment' when we do a bad bad thing LOL

But I liked the way author described every important move and action, seriously! I almost could imagine feeling it myself!

So If you like light kinky stories this is a definite TO READ book for You!

Well.. sadly I didn't loved this like other people did.

So I give 3 Stars! and still feel generous about it.

The whole story line... it was a total mood killer. There was no theme development there. Only jumping from subject to subject. 

I'm actually surprised with myself cause I tend to support young/new writers no matter what.. But It was nothing like I expected. 

And "Mayhem Erotica"? Seriously?

My first thought after I finished this was - "puh-lease!"
I actually don't really know what this was. I'm very disappointed.
This could have been such a good story.

I assume it was, in the authors head. But honestly, we can't read minds.

I think it's the harshest review of mine so far.

But I just feel mad.

It wasn't even that beautiful of a story, it was naive.

On the other hand, there were few very important subjects brought to attention. So maybe that's why I don't give it only 1 star.
And I actually laughed - 2 times, that helps to.

So consider yourself warned!

This book made my day! I felt so depressed, and this read.. I was laughing soo hard, I thought my own panties may rip LOL

This story is about what happens when you're a bastard and you want, no.. you NEED your assistant so much, you think you may burst!

And this is what happens when your boos is a total dick, an ass-hat and completely irresistible and such a beautiful bastard!

You can imagine what happens.. :))

Panties are ripping, buttons are flying, steam is rising. Also there's a lot of panting, dirty words are flying in all directions.

And everything would be just fine, except that they can't stand each other 'before' and 'after' all that heavy breathing is done. Still they need to work together and so the story takes us captive.
I completely ignored everyone around me, I needed so much to finish this book and to know how will it end!!!
And I can tell you right now, I Loved how it ended!
This was such a wonderful refreshment for me!

I'll give 5 Stars! although I'm not sure it's worth that. But I just love these series too much!

First of all I like to say how much I adore this Author! I'm in love with this book series from the first sentence that I've read!

There's everything that I like - action, a little bit of mystery (sometimes a lot more the a little bit), love and romance and of course paranormal activity!
What can I say, I'm hopeless when it comes to that :)

So, about the book.

In the beginning it was a little hard to comprehend what's going on.
There were a lot of those What?When?Where? and WTH's? Because Author decided to proceed this series with action taking place 20 years after the last book. A lot of new names and activities.
It was like starting new series, but with the old and familiar feelings :)
From what I've read here, I think this series is far from ending, I really hope so!
I just wish that we(fans) wouldn't have to wait so long for next book!

Because of the time that had passed in the series they're both no longer kids and the connection they had before transformed into true friendship, love, passion..

Sadly not everything is good for them.. actually nothing is good, at least at the start.
And Mira's gift played a crucial part in all of it.
Lets not forget about very dangerous and powerful threat hiding very near..
Threat that'll have an impact on all, the human race and especially The Breed.
Looks like the war is coming... And you'll never guess with whom!!

I'm already tearing out off of my skin! I want more of this bewitching world that Lara Adrian creates! 

Looks like I'll be skinless by the time new book appears LOL

Anyway, this was good read! I'm pleased with how it came up.
And I really hope the next story will be about Nathan!
