5 stars is not enough, hell.. Million stars doesn't even cover the part of a cover..

so I'll just say S T A R S .............. !!!

For a reader who would randomly take and read this book all the joy and excitement wouldn't do much.
He or she wouldn't get why people were stalking this book, waiting for accurate release date, pre-ordering and being pissed when Amazon send the wrong copy to them.

But I understand! Everyone who've read the series, those two books before this one, will understand. Cause if you've read it, you were captivated by them. You can love them, you can hate them, but you will always, ALWAYS remember them!

And the ones who love them, those who lived with these characters, cried with them, were scared with or of them. Who felt joy and sorrow.. Those readers.. well.. I'm one of those readers!

This book was everything I had wished for. I wished to see them out in the world. To feel their love, to hear their minds.

And Caleb... he turned to be better man then I thought he could be. He's still himself, but a better version. You'd ask how could that be?
Well imagine the Caleb we knew from first two books, and how little we actually saw inside him. And here .. his mind is fascinating! I think I'm in love :D

Anyway, enough of my rambling.. My words can't express enough or do justice for this book.
You have to just read it, and then read it again and again. Until you see what a wonderful job C.J.Roberts did!

The story of Livvie and Caleb broke my heart, and then peace by peace they'd put it back together. Now I feel full again to wonder around in search of new stories. But I will never, ever forget about them.

When I first read the blurb, or maybe it was the second time? Don't remember, but I thought that wow, this will do! This story is what I need right now.
I imagined that Zack will be this hardcore, dom type editor who'll kick Nora's ass, figuratively speaking :))
And Nora will be this submissive, brilliant woman with defiance in her eyes! Our regular BDSM. After long power struggle they'll finally settle down and live happily ever after.. I could have not been more wrong!

This story is nothing I've ever expected. And It's not a romance story either, so don't fool yourself with hopes of happy endings.

This is a horror story if anything and I think the 'author' IN this book would agree with me.

Here.. the person who loves you don't bring you flowers, no.. He beats you. Among other things..

That said, I wasn't disappointed with this book. Quite the contrary, I loved it! It's emotional, raw, true to the core. Full of desires and hurt and pain and love. Yes love.
But it's not a romance.
It's a horror story!

This book made my day! I felt so depressed, and this read.. I was laughing soo hard, I thought my own panties may rip LOL

This story is about what happens when you're a bastard and you want, no.. you NEED your assistant so much, you think you may burst!

And this is what happens when your boos is a total dick, an ass-hat and completely irresistible and such a beautiful bastard!

You can imagine what happens.. :))

Panties are ripping, buttons are flying, steam is rising. Also there's a lot of panting, dirty words are flying in all directions.

And everything would be just fine, except that they can't stand each other 'before' and 'after' all that heavy breathing is done. Still they need to work together and so the story takes us captive.
I completely ignored everyone around me, I needed so much to finish this book and to know how will it end!!!
And I can tell you right now, I Loved how it ended!
This was such a wonderful refreshment for me!

I guess, first of all I need to rate this, 4 stars is a bit too much in my opinion, so I'm thinking.. 2? noooo.. I'm just kidding :))

Sooooo... His name is Horse! :))))) [Everyone starts his/her's review with that LOL :)]

But he's not the main character here.

Meet our heroine Marie... She's a sweet girl, who just left her ex, since she decided she don't wanna be a punching bag anymore, plus that douche was cheating on her, NOT COOL! And luckily after 5 years she finally found her spine and left him. Of course just after he started beating her again.. figures..

And now she's staying with her brother, who's kind enough to try to help her to get on her feet till she gets a job and blah blah blah...

Those things really was very boring for me... Until, one day she was cleaning 'weeds' outside when the bikers came. And there he was, tall, handsome and oh so sexy!

All would be well, except for a fact that he's an ass, actually a first class SOB, his name is Horse and he started courting a woman by calling her 'sweet butt'???? For the love of Harley!!!! What the hell is wrong with you man??



Marie: "So why are you called Horse?"
Horse: "Cause I'm hung like one." 

That's right! That's Horse, he's mean, he's dangerous, and her panties get wet even when she's angry out of her mind with him.

Did I mentioned that he belongs to a Reaper's MC? They're like clan or something, I'd say a gang but "obviously" there's a BIG difference :)))

Anyway, I don't wanna spoil you the fun, cause no matter how frustrating this read was, it was fun. Marie & Horsey make a pretty good match. And no matter how many times I wanted to punch both of them through this read, by the end I loved them just as much :)

I'll give 4 Stars! for this whole book :))

All 8 short stories from this series are actually one book cut in 8 pieces, so it to be released in different dates to drive fans crazy. At least that is what I think.

Hopefully authors wont do that again in the future. Cause it's frustrating, really. 

Do you know the feeling when you can't read the book you're into because you have go to work or other matters to attend too? Basically don't have time for it? And through that time, while you can't read, you constantly living with the characters of that book in your head? Wondering what will happen next.. driving yourself crazy? 

Yeah, I'm thinking this reading experience must have been just like this with this book for those who started reading it when it first came up. But it's not because they needed to work or attend to other matters that they couldn't finish at their own choosing time. It was thanks to the author! 
Yup, she gives you few chapters, intrigues you and then BAM! No more read for you today! Go and be mad all day, make everyone around you miserable because you need another dose of dat book!

Luckily, I wasn't one of those people who started from when the first peace of the book was released. So my sanity is intact and everyone around me safe, all is well. Have no fear!

I was just wondering, what on earth! ( probably not from earth I think) advised with this frustrating-publishing of one book? I think it was a Devil himself. Cause may I just say BRAVO for the tactics!


I was captured by this series from the chapter one! Although the story looked somewhat similar to 50 Shades of Gray. And I guess it was in some way. All stories like this one will always have something in common with E.L.James books. 
Story 'bout wealthy man and a young girl with some dark secrets and kinky fuckery seems very appealing for readers these days. But who am I to judge right? I think I might be one of them LOL :))))

So if You haven't read this series yet, you should definitely start it right away. Cause it's nice story with lots of fun in the erotic sense of the word :))

Very, very HOT read. Lots of sensuality and sex 

So.
I liked it. Didn't loved it, but it was OK.

Why just ok? Well, I need more story line, more actions not just porn for your imagination.
Although I can not say that I haven't enjoyed it very much. I did!

And what I hated the most was "the dirty-talk". 90% of it I was just rolling my eyes or face palming, sometimes eve laughing out laud, cause really.... What normal person can be 110 percent in to the lust mode doing "acrobatics" and at the same time make full, correct sentences of a dirty-talk????

In the beginning it was funny at how unnatural it all sounded, in the end it was just annoying .

I'm sorry but I can't imagine a man inside me, at the intense moment of doing .. that, and then he'd stop (while still inside me) and begin explaining how he feels right now, in full 5 or maybe even 7 sentences. (???)

I guess the ending was fine... A bit too sweet for me, too naive for my taste. I like HEA.. but this was just so...*eye-roll*
